“ Like eating in a place that is half jungle, half museum. Everything was perfect frim beginning to end: The best ethiopian food I ever had, lovely service, very unique yet warm and comfortable atmosphere. ”
“ Highly recommended restaurant to visit when you are in Cape Town. Very nice ambience, attentive, polite staff and very tasty Ethiopian food. We ordered the below dishes which are served with injera (flatbread which tasted like dosai) - Doro chicken - cooked with berberie sauce - Beef tibs - grilled pieces of meat with no sauce ”
“ What a fabulous find! Delicious food in magical surroundings. Service was great and friendly too! Had a vegetarian sampler and fresh pear and apple juice! Loved everything about this enchanting restaurant:) ”
“ This is such a quaint and unique restaurant and it should be a must visit if you are in Cape Town. We managed to get a last minute booking and was seated in a private area in a loft that we had to climb a small ladder. I love this setup! Ordering was a little stressful if you have never been to an Ethiopian restaurant before. We ordered the veggie sampler and the lamb mista (which is a combination of lamb alicha and lamb key wat). It was all served in a lovely platter along with injera bread. Oh the food was absolutely delicious. The veggie sampler is a MUST and then you can add on the meats that you would like. We could not finish the meal despite desperately wanting to. The ambience of the place was also so lovely. We felt like we were in the middle of a little village. The only downside was the initial server we had. She was rather trying to hurry us along to order despite having handed us the menu just short of 1-2 mins prior. But then our other server came and all was good. ”
“ Great atmosphere, the decor is awesome. Get ready to share your meal and use your hands. Delicious flavours. Try a little bit of everything. Affordable drinks. Right on Longstreet, so parking isn't easy, take an Uber. ”
